[otome game] Tsundere *S Otome

Mirai has recently updated their website with the official site for their new 18+ otome game project titled Tsundere *S Otome, which is getting released sometime next year. At the moment, only the character page is up so we don’t know much about this game other than the fact that the female protagonist might be some kind of tsuntsun gal.

Mirai’s most recent game Sumire no Tsubomi was such a big disappointment (at least for me anyway), so that’s why I’m hoping this one will be somewhat closer to some of their previous titles.

 

[otome game] Riddle Garden Official Website Open!

New otome game company Caramelia has finally opened their official website along with the sub-page for their first 18+ otome game project Riddle Garden. The artist and scenario writer for this game have previously worked on most of SugarBeans‘ titles such as Ijiwaru My Master and Under the Moon (no wonder the main heroine looks so much like Asche). This game is scheduled to be released during 2010.

 

Miracle Train 01

So… according to the show itself, the Miracle Train is some kind of legendary train that only shows up to lost ladies and it’s filled with bishies that will “help you with your problems and put your mind at ease”. Now, all of this makes it sound kinda creepy so you can just think of it as some kind of magical host club for fujoshis in trouble.

This show kinda reminds me of an otome game, except that instead of having a main heroine there’ll be like a different girl every episode (with focus on a different guy each time). That sort of kills the possibility of having a serious plot or romance in this anime (unless they make the same girl show up again later in the series or something), so if you were looking for that kind of stuff then this show isn’t probably for you. Actually, there wasn’t much comedy in this episode either, so all that’s left is… the manharem of anthropomorphized train stations lol. Watch this for the hot guys and nothing else.

 

[otome game] CRAZY★RABBITS OP movie

The official website for CRAZY★RABBITS got recently updated with the game’s OP movie, which I decided to upload to youtube cause nobody else is probably gonna bother. I’m not really a fan of Tiaramode’s otome games since their art sucks IMO, and it doesn’t really look like it might improve that much this time around either. Their gallery also includes a CG of uhhh, an okama kissing the female protagonist… now that’s something I probably won’t be looking forward to.

 

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Episode II-II

Episode II-II: Early queen move.

So in case you haven’t realized it before, the time resets in Umineko work the same way as in Higurashi, in the sense that different stuff happens each time even though everything occurs during the same span of days. Also, just as a clarification, the Beatrice and Battler who show up when time stops and everything turns gray are the same ones from the first arc’s tea party.

 

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Episode II-I

This episode marks the beginning of a completely new arc in Umineko, and I like how they switched the protrait in the OP sequence to reflect this. In my opinion, this second novel in the series is when Umineko really starts to shine. I’m not saying the first arc was bad or anything like that, but things get a lot more interesting and complicated this time around.

I usually don’t follow J-dramas, mainly because I feel like I’d have a hard time keeping up with them. However, after hearing that Otomen was getting a drama adaptation, I couldn’t skip this one. Do I really need to explain why? *points at blog’s title*
